From Cruise Port: Lyttelton-Christchurch
This tour will start from Catherdral Square in Christchurch City centre, you must take the shuttle from the port to get there by the start time, usually 11am.
This tour explores four of North Canterbury's boutique vineyards, with lunch.
From Christchurch we drive 45 minutes north through the New Zealand countryside to the Waipara Valley, well known for its warm, dry climate and rich alluvial soils, ideal for superior wine production.
Over 40 vineyards and wineries pepper the landscape of the valley, with Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc dominating local plantings.
The tour will collect you from the Port of Lyttelton late morning and travelling through Christchurch city will head north to the Canterbury winery district of Waipara.
The first stop is at Waipara Springs Winery where both a tasting of their wines and lunch has been arranged for your enjoyment. You will also stop for tastings at Pegasus Bay, Waipara Hills and Greystone Winery.
(Should any of the above named wineries be unavailable on the day, an alternative winery in the Waipara area will be included)

Are children allowed on this tour?
Yes, but you must be 18 or older to enjoy the wine tastings.
Where do I start this tour?
The shore excursion begins in Christchurch City Centre, you must take the shuttle buses from the port to the city. Details are given on your voucher.
Can you take my wheelchair on this tour?
None of the vehicles are wheel chair accessible, however, we are happy to carry collapsible wheel chairs. The only requirement is that the passengers using wheel chairs can board and alight the tour vehicles without assistance or if assistance is required they are travelling with someone who can assist.
Can I bring my stroller, or pram on this tour?
Yes, providing it folds up for storage and you are able to put it on and off the vehicle on your own or are traveling with someone to help you.
